Our Story and We’re Sticking to It!

In August 2009 John, recently retired (again) and bored received an email about a Restaurant for Sale in Simpsonville. Having never been in the Restaurant business before, but eaten in thousands of them, he thought this foray might be fun! He Bought it, Remodeled, Renamed, and Opened in November! His credo is simple:
“Provide the Best Possible Food and Drink Offerings at a Fair Price.”
Here at P. Simpson’s we’re not stuffy people and don’t really take ourselves too seriously! Lord knows we’re not perfect or really that smart! About the only thing we’re serious about is how we treat our customers! We want you to have great food and drink in a friendly atmosphere and always feel welcomed here. All of our food is prepared per order. You can certainly pay more elsewhere. (We don’t Know Why you’d Want to!) It takes a little longer but most people agree that it sure tastes better. We buy local and organic whenever possible and have no freezer or microwave in our kitchen! We procure the best (From Our Aged Certified Angus Beef, Fresh Seafood Delivered Daily, and Colorado Lamb) and utilize proper portion sizes to assure filling you up without stuffing you! We’ll never compromise quantity for quality!
There are 2 reasons why we have nice linens on our tables in our dining room. The first is it helps lower the noise level on busy nights and the second is that our tables are old and don’t all match! We don’t use paper napkins because we think they don’t do the job!
Our suggested Dress Code is “Clothes.” We want you to feel comfortable when you come in so if you like jeans, shorts, suits, dresses, tuxedos, flip flops, sneakers, loafers, or designer clothing it’s all ok with us!
Our Wines are from small batch wineries all over the world and we sure like how each of them taste! (Sampling is Fun)! Same goes for our Draft Beers!

We love music. That’s why we have some of the best local Upstate Musicians here after Dinner Hours here on Friday and Saturday nights!
We really enjoy being an active part of the Simpsonville Community and we’re always looking for ways to “Give Back” and make Simpsonville an even better place to live! We think our “Downtown” is better than Greenville’s! (Free Parking, Less Traffic, Better Food, and People!)
Our goal is for our place to be your place!
